There is unique system of medicine which encourages the health consumer to be an active participant in their own healing, the practitioner promotes the consumer to participate in and maintain healthy lifestyle regimes. Much of the healing work needs to be done by the consumer, at home, on their own dietary changes.

This system which is also known as Ayurveda; aims to teach its followers how to maintain harmony and balance between mind and body. A non-invasive technique – A balanced diet, herbal remedies, gentle exercise and physical therapies are the different methods with which Ayurveda aims to achieve healthy living. It is based on the body’s innate healing ability, and is thought to be the first healing system in the world that is based on natural principles rather than on superstition or magic.

Allopathic techniques are based on the concept of sudden and instantaneous relief, so often the patient get rid of his problem for a short period, but the origin of disease is not eliminated, finally there comes the probability in future for that origin to be worse. Allopathic techniques uses antigen that introduces a chemical, heaving opposite effect of what the body is producing. So there is always a risk with the power and supplied quantity of the drug.

On the other hand, medicare based on natural and herbal techniques and supplements, does not believe in antidotes and antigens, very rarely those techniques are used, aim is not to suppress the system of body, but to go to the origin and cure the basic disturbing element. In such treatments there are very low chances of side effect and the benefit of the body is forever. It gives you a complete health treatment, which works on the complete body system so it makes you feel better in your entire body.

Still in practice in sub-content, these herbs are vastly available in market for those who have the knowledge to use the oldest of the health care system for themselves an others.

Noori Top

Noori Top, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

Low temperature, abundant rainfall, low pressure and a view to die for. This is a short description of some of the climatic elements found when you journey through the gateway to Kashmir, The famous Noori Paas.

Dominating the landscape, Noori Top is sure a wonderful sight and as one start the journey its like going into the clouds, flying through with some amazing mountain terrain. Temperate falls one degree for every 500 feets. The mountain and the surrounding valley receive abundant rainfall to sustain thick carpet of clouds with beautiful running stream right in the center of the valley.

As the jeep travel with its full potential of engine gaining the height, pressure falls so much that it reduced to half of the atmospheric pressure found at sea level. The Noori Naar Pass literally is a wall between the two of the most beautiful valleys in the World. Kaghan & Kashmir.

The view from the top is breathless, and so is the atmosphere. For sure I consider this pass, most beautiful terrain I have ever seen on the planet.

Sensual Sensations, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

Pristine nature surrounded by its soothing fragrance and serenity that can be very healing from the torn and torture of the modern life. On a clear day the mountain views and bird’s eye view of the valley is extremely astonishing. It’s amazing that this small place embrace wealth of natural diversity.

I am actually suffering from "Destination Redundancy Syndrome" a common ailment among those whose vacations have become so predictable they can calculate their trips in advance. but as I dream of a vacation to take my breath away without taking away my life savings, know that Paye nestled between the mighty mountains of Kaghan valley, has enough natural wonders, and starling surprises to generate some pre-vacation euphoria.

The hid ‘n seek of clouds and mist, create a mysterious view, where sometime its limitless and sometimes you cannot even see your own hand.

Stillness

December 18, 2009

Stillness, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

Taking time to breathe, taking time to do nothing and taking time out to do nothing have become something rare. When you choose to put aside time to connect with your inner being you will find yourself calmer, relaxed and poised.

Find somewhere you know you won’t be distracted or disturbed. And just do whatever feels good for you. Perhaps coloring in is peaceful for you, or taking a slow walk beside the lake. Anything at all.

There is great power in stilling you mind and slowing down your thoughts. You will be able to hear your intuition more clearly when you take the time to tune in.

Nature is a great place to lose yourself in. Tune in to one sense at a time. Look around you and revel in all the shapes and colors surrounding you. Listen to the sound of water or birds or insects humming. Listen to your own heart beat and the sound of your footsteps.

Feel the wind on your face and the sun on your shoulders. Feel your arms swinging as you wander slowly along. Put all worries aside and just focus as best you can on being in the present moment. The more you practice being still the more time you will want to spend.

It really does feel that good. Things you were worried about before won’t seem so daunting now. You will find yourself being slower to think angry thoughts. And you will find yourself being more understanding.

Tap into the power of being still and re-connect with your inner being. It’s a place you will want to return to more often.

Whistling in My Ears

December 17, 2009

Whistling in My Ears, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

There are only few places where I became utterly silent inside, as thought in a gap between thoughts, where one becomes completely perception and thought-free. Banks of Saif-ul-Maluk is one place. With the vast valley closing behind the Lake, creating a pass called Kach Gali, from where I just returned.

Of course I must feel isolated, alienated , alone and lonely, for I am cut off from all the elements around me and still I feel myself in the valley, feeling lost in the beauty of nature, feeling how small I am in this universe.

Quite simply, this is the area I know most about. As I sit enjoying the coold breeze whistling in my ears, all those folk tales and my past experiences run through my eyes like a film. I never had such a clear and vivid vision of the past ever.

As I opened up my eyes after a silent break and journey through the memory lane, an early evening light fall over the mountains, with monster clouds coming over the place I was some hours ago. The only sound I then heard was a Click… And I started my journey as I have no sound around me.

Set Free

Set Free, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

There are no external forces holding you back. Actually you are the one holding you back and blaming it on someone or something else.

We maintain the illusion that we are a victim, and continue to hold our-self back. Once we release that illusion, we will naturally and easily move forward.

It fact, in reality, it is easier to fulfill our best possibilities than it is to avoid them. So let go off the blame and watch the limitations drop away once and for all.

For sure, its certain that there will be challenges, and yet it is not the challenges that hold us back. For each challenge provide us with a pathway through which we can move toward fulfillment.

It is in our very nature to accomplish. Lovingly accept our destiny, and allow that accomplishment to be manifest.

Lets set our-self free to follow our purpose. Set our-self free to truly love and live.

Flow of Desire

December 14, 2009

Flow of Desire, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

There isn’t a person on the planet that doesn’t have a desire of some kind. Each one of us has more than one desire at a time. Whether it’s wanting more money, a new home, a relationship, more sleep, more love in the world or even a desire to laugh more in life, it’s all about wanting something we don’t have.

We will always have unfulfilled desires and it’s because of that, you will continue to grow and expand in your life. Whenever you reach one place or fulfill one desire, you will then automatically find yourself moving to the next place with the next desire. There is nothing wrong with this. This is human nature and to find yourself in a place of having desires and having them fulfilled is exhilarating. It can almost become a game and there are a few rules, that when followed accordingly, can create the feeling of winning even before your desire has manifested.

Trust that all your desires have been heard and are in the process of being fulfilled. When your thoughts, feelings, words and actions are in alignment, your unfulfilled desires will be fulfilled faster than you can create a new desire.

Pure Potentiality

December 11, 2009

Pure Potentiality, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

The relationship between reality, that actually happens, and the reality that we make-up in our minds has been one that has confused us since the moment our brains became evolved enough to ponder such meaty topic as the past and future. Somewhere along the line we got it into our heads that the act of thinking a thought makes it true. That’s why when you imagine yourself suffering in the future, say, failing at important tasks, being unhappy in your career, or not achieving what you want out of life, you start to get an uneasy feeling right away. The nervous system takes what ever you think about – past, present or future – and acts on it as if it’s a factual event taking place right now. Of course the problem with this is that most people tend not to challenge the things they feel to be fact, so left unchecked those thoughts get free reign of the imagination and monopolies the way you feel about life.

But the future doesn’t exist, it never has. All you have is this very moment, now. The future can never arrive because it is not coming from anywhere. What you think of as the future is just a clear empty space into which the Now can evolve, and that empty space is pure potentiality.

But even when you think about the past and get that realistic sense that its echo lingers on and that it is following you around, that isn’t the past. That is just a process of thought that is taking place in the present moment. It is nothing more than electricity jumping between neurons in your brain, in the Now. It’s not the past that hurts; it is what you do in the present moment to make a mental reconstruction of old painful experiences that allows the same old feelings to stay with you.

The Existence

December 9, 2009

The Existence, originally uploaded by !shTiaQ Ahmed.

There is no need to go out looking for physical evidence of God’s existence; we can work out that he exists just by thinking about it.

There clearly are certain claims that we can tell are false without even having to look into them to find out. The claim to have made a four-sided triangle, and the claim to be over six feet tall but less than five, for example, are both claims that are obviously false. We know that triangles have three sides. We know that being over six feet tall means being over five feet tall too. There’s no need to spend time looking for four-sided triangles or tall short people in order to know that there aren’t any.

We must therefore think of God as cannot be imagined to be better than he is, put it, God is “that than which no greater can be conceived.”

So as we all know those laws of physics that universe tends to be balanced in anyway. If we say God does exist, we actually say yes to the existence of Evil…. Whatever you may name it, Devil, Satan, etc…

There was emptiness more profound than the void between the stars, for which there was no here and there and before and after, and yet out of that void the entire plenum of existence sprang forth.

“The mystery of existence is the connection between our faults and our misfortunes”. So why we battle over a same believe cause. Fighting over the differences. Why not cherish our similarities and make each other understand about the Existence.. of peace, love and humanity.
